Ribbon Printing

Custom Printing Information:

custom printed ribbon Artistic Ribbon is a specialist in custom ribbon printing. Having served the fashion and promotional needs of manufacturers, distributors and mass merchandisers internationally since 1928, we pride ourselves in being the one-stop center for all your design and logo requirements. As a supplier of commercial ribbon printing services, be advised that we do require a minimum order commitment of one thousand yards for most print methods and a three-thousand yard minimum for heat transfer printing.

Most of our custom ribbon printing is done on single or double faced satin to provide the best coverage. We can also print on grosgrain , sheer and certain fancies.

Sublimation:
"Heat Transfer" print method -- we print paper with our unique dyes, and use heat applications to allow the vivid colors and stunning details of your designs to actually become part of the substrate. This print method is 100% permanent.

Hot Stamping:
This method utilizes metallic, pigment and multi-dimensional holographic foils. This is not a washable printing. Some foils may flake or scratch off if not handled properly. This is an ideal ribbon print process for the cosmetic, packaging and floral industries.

Flexography:
"Ink" print process -- using environmentally safe inks, this print method is ideal to capture true Pantone (PMS) colors. Superior as a print process for printing with dark colors on light colored substrates, this printing technique will withstand washability to an extent. Maximum colors to be printed: 3 colors. Maximum repeat: 19.5 inches.

Embossing:
Ideal print process for a subtle and delicate look... must print on satin substrates (best results on double-face satin); maximum repeat is 7.5 inches.

Artwork must be on a clean "black & white" copy, properly sized and showing step and repeat. Artwork that is supplied on disk or electronically also must be sized exactly to be printed showing all repeats. For multiple color print jobs colors must be separated. Artwork must be supplied exactly as to be printed in high resolution -- additional charges will be applied if otherwise (these additional charges will be determined by our Graphics Department.
